In today’s highly competitive world of article writing, everyone is looking for the best platform to have their work viewed, discussed and shared. So, I decided to perform a simple test on two of the largest professional network blogging platforms.

Three weeks ago I posted my highly successful Entrepreneur article “8 Reasons How a Powerful Personal Brand Will Make You Successful” on beBee Producer and Linkedin Pulse blogging platforms on the same date, at the same time.

The results are quite shocking. On Linkedin, with my 29,600 followers, my article received 161 views, 41 likes and one comment. That’s an overall engagement rate to followers of a minuscule 0.68%. On beBee, with my 1,188 followers, my article received 54 relevant, 21 comments and 3,100 views. That’s an overall engagement rate to followers of 267%. The percentage is more than 100% on beBee because my article was shared in relevant Hives (e.g., Social Media, Directors & Executives, etc.) where people who aren’t following me, but have interest in this subject matter, can view it. That’s the power of affinity networking and a non-suppressed algorithm.

Had to read '8 Reasons...' - inspiring stuff but at present I have no idea where you all find the time - my day job was part time now full time...money dictates I do all my own home repairs and of course with summer coming that is what I do...I grow my own vegetables really I am a one man band...I make my jewellery, go to markets etc etc and and....... and do not often get the time to read much on the net....so many people reporting all these wonderful things...it is very dispiriting to realise that somewhere along the line I must be getting it massively wrong...or is it just my age and everything I do takes twice as long...am now depressed but believe me very happy for you....time for a vanilla ice cream and cassis!! Tomorrow I will tell every one what a wonderful ol' lady I really am really am!

One thing I thrived on was LinkedIn's detailed analytics which is no longer available. I could tell what kind of audience I was reaching and viewed it often. Now I have to simply luck out and get a like from one of my target audience which is not readily forthcoming. Comments are key to who is viewing your posts now. BeBee interactors are generous with their comments, unlike LI.
I've seen similar results.

Great experiment report Matt \ud83d\udc1d Sweetwood, keepmthe buzz alive and touch base with me when ready for business development stage. I recently add a lot of discussion with CEOs that have disrupt their own industries, theynremarks converge my beliefs about beBee, and i found them very supportive towards my business initiatives. Cheers!
12 minutes per day....lol...23% of monthly users. Nobody at linkedin will stop even 10 seconds, shake hands with you and ask: How are you? How was your day? Anything special today? LinkediN is a users database to be sold to plus 10 000 employees companies. Period.
I only keep it for background check to allow recruiters to screen me, it gives them a little 56 pages of data, so they can have a snack with. I only get scam jobs offers with bitcoin accounts money laundering. I use job canditating automation to run applications daily, and get results this way. Which means LinkedIn is not effective for what it is supposed to remain, a jobs search and recruiters website. But when youbget used to a pet, why would you get rid of it. Linkedin will fight to stay alive, but wil be disrupted by competition very soon, and sooner that they are expecting. You need a subordinate job, keep using LinkedIn. You need to lead all the way and build something that will last and propel your career? Well choose beBee!
LinkedIn is a digital version of your resume for recruiters, you invest 700 $ for no ROI, not an engagement tool. If you do not pay you get limited on purpose, and if youndo not buy their on going options like sponsoring updates, they tighten the leash, till you get 40 views linear per updates. Unless your are a celebrity, you do not need LinkedIn for your personal brand. The first reasons is technical, Linkedin cut most of all open API libraries for developpers, so most platform for business and automation are no longer compatible. Exemple - Zapier.
Ha! LinkedWhat? Flush? Plush? wuuush? Linkedin Posts views last month +\~ 1400 for all posts articles updates (okay) And bebee prdoucer only last 30 days ...without buzzes, videos, image slogans, urls...84 000 views, cannot remember the shares and the engagement in comments form 12 to 87 ???!!!!,

Not surprised...LinkedIn for a bit was becoming very "unfriendly" with very grouchy so called professionals. I was beginning to think that to be a LinkedIn professional you were not allowed to share family/friend pride, lack a sense of humor, hae no empathy and have no desire to connect for anything other than what one could do to enhance one's career. beBee is all that and more! I agree with all the comments in that regard. #beBeeIsHome

Nice buzz, Matt, I couldn't agree more: beBee beats LinkedIn in a landslide regarding user engagement, user satisfaction, overall user experience, rate of monthly active users, customer service, CEO engagement, and other factors. The "poof is in the pudding," as you deftly demonstrate. Meanwhile, LI is boasting of having reached 500 million users. What they don't say is that 75% or more of those users are inactive on a monthly basis, according to comSCORE and other industry data. Meanwhile, I believe beBee's rate of monthly active users is about double that of LI. Nice try LI(E)!
