Backend Developer – Python / PHP

We are looking for a skilled Backend Developer to join our team in Sharjah, UAE.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in backend development and be comfortable working with APIs, databases, websites, and basic frontend tasks when required.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain backend systems and web applications
• Build and integrate REST APIs and third-party services
• Work with databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar
• Troubleshoot bugs, improve performance, and maintain existing projects
• Work with frontend developers and designers to complete projects
• Manage Git/GitHub repositories and deployment workflows
• Support e-commerce and company website development when required

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Python and/or PHP
• Experience with Django, Laravel, FastAPI, or similar frameworks
• REST API development and integration
• MySQL / PostgreSQL / database management
• HTML, CSS, and JavaScript basics
• Git and GitHub
• Good problem-solving and debugging skills

Additional skills are a plus:

• Shopify / Liquid
• WordPress / WooCommerce
• AWS or other cloud platforms
• AI/API integrations
• Basic frontend development

Job Type: Full-time Location: Sharjah, UAE

Pay: AED3,500.00 per month
