Role Description The Construction Inspector role at SSH Design is a full-time, on-site position based in Dubai.

The Construction

Inspector will perform daily site inspections to monitor construction activities, verify compliance with approved drawings, specifications, codes, and safety standards, and document findings in detailed reports. This role includes coordinating with contractors, consultants, and project managers to address quality issues, non-conformances, and technical queries in a timely manner.

Inspector will review materials and workmanship, oversee testing procedures (including asphalt and other civil works), and support quality control processes to ensure project milestones are met. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, attending site meetings, and providing proactive feedback to support effective construction management and successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Site Inspections and Inspection to monitor construction activities and verify compliance with project requirements.
• Candidates should possess solid Quality Control experience, including documentation, non-conformance reporting, and oversight of materials and workmanship.
• Candidates should possess knowledge of Asphalt works and related civil construction practices, including relevant standards and testing procedures.
• Candidates should possess Construction Management skills to coordinate with project stakeholders, manage priorities, and support timely project delivery.
• Relevant technical diploma or degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field.
• Experience in building and infrastructure projects, preferably within the Middle East region.
• Familiarity with local building codes, industry standards, and health and safety regulations.
• Strong communication and report-writing skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work effectively on-site.
