Data Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a Data Quality Analyst for a 12 month contract based in Dubai to ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data presented through dashboards, reports, and digital interfaces, including web and mobile applications.

Key responsibilities:

• Validate dashboards, reports, and mobile applications for data accuracy and consistency.
• Perform data reconciliation between source systems and reporting outputs.
• Verify KPIs, metrics and filters.
• Support UAT for dashboards, reports, and analytical products.
• Work closely with BI, analytics, and data engineering teams to resolve data issues.
• Identify discrepancies between analytical outputs and expected business outcomes

Qualifications & Experience:

• 3–5 years’ experience in data quality, analytics, or reporting assurance roles, , preferably within the banking or financial services sector
• Strong SQL skills for reconciliation, validation, and data comparison
• Experience working with BI and reporting platforms (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
• Strong attention to detail and analytical mindset
