Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Full Stack Engineer (.Net Developer) based in Dubai. The engineer will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-performance applications, combining expertise in both front-end and back-end development. Day-to-day responsibilities include designing, coding, testing, and debugging applications and collaborating with cross-functional teams for seamless integration.
The role also involves ensuring software scalability, security, and performance optimization in line with project goals and standards.
Key Responsibilities
Software Development & Architecture
- Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using .NET Framework / .NET Core.
- Build and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using Xamarin.
- Develop and optimize XSLT transformations, XML workflows, and data integrations.
- Create and maintain Crystal Reports, ensuring accuracy and performance.
- Design and implement microservices-based architectures, ensuring scalability and resilience.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices.
- Develop secure and scalable RESTful APIs and integration layers.
- Ensure proper API design, documentation, versioning, and lifecycle management.
- Integrate applications with internal and external systems using industry-standard protocols.
- Work heavily with Oracle and PostgreSQL, including writing complex queries, procedures, and optimization.
- Ensure data integrity, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of database-related issues.
- Build and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
- Support deployments across environments (Dev, QA, UAT, Production).
- Monitor performance and implement improvements for cloud-hosted applications.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
- Perform detailed impact analysis, feasibility studies, and solution design.
- Provide second-line and third-line technical support for business users.
- Drive issue resolution, root cause analysis, and provide long-term solutions.
- Work closely with product owners, QA, DevOps, and cross-functional teams.
- Communicate progress, risks, and technical challenges effectively.
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to knowledge sharing within the team.

- Experience with Git, branching strategies, and release management.
- Hands-on experience with cloud deployments (Azure preferred).
- Strong business analysis capabilities.
- Excellent communication and documentation skills.
- Experience in customer-facing roles and production support.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Certifications in .NET, Azure, DevOps, or related technologies are a plus.
Note: The role is 6 months extendable contractual role.
