About The OpportunityWe are looking for an experienced Functional Test Engineer with strong expertise in the Airline domain, specifically in Booking Flow and Reservation Systems.
The candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality delivery of airline applications through comprehensive functional testing.
Perform functional, system, regression, and UAT testing of airline booking applications.
Analyze business and technical requirements and create detailed test scenarios and test cases.
Validate end-to-end booking flow including search, pricing, availability, booking, payment, ticketing, and post-booking flows.
Execute test cases and log defects with detailed reproduction steps.
Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and other stakeholders.
Participate in requirement reviews and provide testability feedback.
Prepare test execution reports and status updates.
Ensure adherence to QA processes and standards.
Required Skills & Experience
7–12 years of experience in Functional / Manual Testing.
Strong experience in Airline / Aviation domain.
Hands-on knowledge of Airline Booking Flow and reservation systems.
Experience with defect and test management tools (JIRA, ALM, TestRail, Zephyr, etc.).
Good understanding of SDLC and STLC.
Strong analytical and communication skills.
