Interface Manager (Integration)

DXC Technology | United Arab Emirates | On-site

Function: Program Governance & MSI Services

DXC Technology is seeking an experienced Interface Manager (Integration) to lead interface management and cross-system integration activities within a large-scale, complex technology transformation program in the UAE.

This role will be responsible for ensuring that interfaces across applications, infrastructure, networks, security systems, data platforms, ELV/smart systems, and third-party solutions are clearly defined, governed, implemented, tested, and successfully transitioned into operations.

The successful candidate will bring strong technical integration knowledge combined with delivery governance, stakeholder management, and experience coordinating complex multi-vendor and Master Systems Integrator (MSI) environments.

Key Responsibilities

Interface Management & Governance

  • Establish and manage the overall interface management framework, governance process, and delivery methodology.
  • Develop and maintain the master Interface Register, ensuring all system-to-system and cross-workstream interfaces are identified, assigned, tracked, and governed.
  • Define and maintain Interface Control Documents (ICDs), interface specifications, ownership models, and acceptance criteria.
  • Ensure clear accountability between interface providers, consumers, vendors, and technical workstreams.
  • Monitor interface status, dependencies, risks, issues, and readiness throughout the program lifecycle.
Systems Integration & Technical Coordination
  • Coordinate integration across applications, APIs, middleware, data platforms, networks, infrastructure, cybersecurity, ELV/smart systems, and third-party technologies.
  • Facilitate technical interface workshops between architects, engineering teams, vendors, OEMs, and system integrators.
  • Ensure interface requirements are aligned with approved architecture, security, performance, availability, and operational requirements.
  • Coordinate integration approaches involving APIs, middleware, messaging, event-driven integration, data exchange, and system-to-system connectivity.
  • Identify technical conflicts, integration gaps, and cross-system dependencies and drive them through to resolution.
Multi-Vendor & MSI Coordination
  • Act as a central coordination point for interfaces spanning multiple vendors, OEMs, contractors, technical teams, and system integrators.
  • Define clear interface responsibilities and manage dependencies between delivery parties.
  • Challenge incomplete or conflicting interface designs and ensure timely technical decisions.
  • Monitor vendor interface deliverables against agreed schedules and program milestones.
  • Escalate critical integration blockers and unresolved ownership issues through program governance.
Integration Testing & Readiness
  • Coordinate interface readiness for SIT, end-to-end integration testing, UAT, commissioning, cutover, and go-live.
  • Ensure interface prerequisites, environments, connectivity, test data, and dependencies are available before testing.
  • Track integration defects and coordinate resolution across responsible technical teams and vendors.
  • Ensure interfaces meet agreed functional, performance, security, resilience, and acceptance requirements.
  • Support operational readiness, technical documentation, handover, and transition into BAU/support operations.
Reporting, Risk & Dependency Management
  • Maintain clear visibility of interface risks, issues, assumptions, and dependencies.
  • Provide program leadership with regular reporting on interface readiness, critical dependencies, integration risks, vendor performance, and required decisions.
  • Support change control by assessing the cross-system impact of proposed technical changes.
  • Maintain accurate interface documentation and ensure traceability from requirements through implementation and acceptance.

Required Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 14 years of technology, systems integration, or technical delivery experience, including significant responsibility for interface or integration management.
  • Proven experience as an Interface Manager, Integration Manager, Integration Lead, Technical Integration Manager, or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience managing interfaces across multiple systems, technology domains, workstreams, and vendors.
  • Strong understanding of APIs, REST/SOAP, middleware, ESB, messaging, microservices, event-driven integration, and enterprise integration patterns.
  • Experience managing Interface Registers, ICDs, integration dependencies, technical specifications, and interface ownership.
  • Strong experience coordinating SIT, end-to-end integration testing, defect management, cutover, and go-live readiness.
  • Experience operating within complex multi-vendor/system integration environments.
  • Strong technical stakeholder management, facilitation, negotiation, governance, and problem-solving capabilities.

Preferred Experience

  • Experience working within a Master Systems Integrator (MSI) delivery model.
  • Experience integrating multiple technology domains including applications, infrastructure, network, cybersecurity, data, and smart/connected systems.
  • Knowledge of integration technologies such as MuleSoft, Boomi, Azure Integration Services, IBM App Connect, Kafka, or equivalent.
  • Experience delivering large-scale technology transformation or systems integration programs.
  • UAE/GCC program delivery experience is advantageous.
  • Relevant certifications in integration, architecture, cloud, ITIL, PMP, or PRINCE2 are advantageous.

What We Are Looking For

We are looking for an experienced integration and interface management professional who can operate across multiple technical domains while maintaining strong control over delivery dependencies.

The successful candidate should be capable of bringing architects, engineering teams, vendors, OEMs, and delivery teams together to resolve complex cross-system integration challenges.

The ideal candidate will combine technical integration knowledge, structured governance, strong ownership, vendor management, and the ability to drive interfaces from definition through testing, acceptance, and operational handover.
