Job Title: Lead Network & Cyber Security Engineer

Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Lead Network & Cyber Security Engineer to design, implement, manage, and optimize enterprise network and security infrastructures across on-premises and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in network security, cloud security, data center technologies, cybersecurity operations, and team leadership, with experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the design, implementation, and management of enterprise network and security solutions.
Manage and support Cisco networking technologies including routers, switches, wireless solutions, Cisco ISE, Meraki, and SD-WAN environments.
Administer and optimize security platforms such as Palo Alto, Cisco Firepower, Cisco ASA, F5 Load Balancers, Riverbed WAN Optimization, and VPN technologies.
Design and implement cloud security architectures across AWS and Microsoft Azure environments.
Lead cloud migration projects and ensure secure connectivity between on-premises infrastructure and cloud platforms.
Configure and manage IAM, access control, identity governance, and network segmentation policies.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve critical network and security incidents in enterprise and data center environments.
Implement cybersecurity controls including IDS/IPS, web filtering, endpoint protection, threat monitoring, and vulnerability management.
Manage network routing and switching protocols including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, HSRP, VRRP, and STP.
Design and maintain secure remote access and site-to-site VPN solutions.
Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and application teams to ensure secure service delivery.
Lead technical projects, mentor junior engineers, and provide technical guidance to operational teams.
Develop network and security documentation, architecture diagrams, policies, and standard operating procedures.
Participate in change management, risk assessments, and security audits.
Support CDN, cloud networking, and hybrid infrastructure environments.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering, Cyber Security, or a related field.
10 years of experience in Network Engineering, Network Security, Cyber Security, and Cloud Infrastructure.
Strong hands-on experience with Cisco networking technologies, Palo Alto Firewalls, Cisco ISE, Meraki, F5, and Riverbed solutions.
Experience with AWS and Azure cloud networking and security services.
Strong understanding of IAM, Zero Trust concepts, VPN technologies, and enterprise security frameworks.
Experience supporting enterprise data centers and large-scale network environments.
Strong troubleshooting and incident management skills.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
