Shift Miller / Chakkei Miller
Location: Between Ajman and Sharjah, UAE
Schedule: 6 days per week | 12-hour shift
Role purpose
Operate and supervise the milling shift to achieve flour quality, extraction and production targets.
Experience and mandatory requirements
Minimum 5 years as a Shift Miller specifically in flour mills.
Key responsibilities
- Operate and adjust milling equipment, including chakki equipment where applicable.
- Monitor wheat preparation, feed rates, grinding, sieving and flour output against specifications.
- Check milling performance and coordinate sampling with the quality team.
- Identify blockages, equipment abnormalities and process losses; coordinate corrective action.
- Maintain shift production records, material reconciliation and clear handover notes.
- Enforce mill hygiene, dust control and safe operating practices.
Skills and capabilities
- Practical knowledge of flour milling, product consistency and extraction control.
- Ability to troubleshoot process issues and coordinate with maintenance.
