Mill Operator

Shift Miller / Chakkei Miller

Location: Between Ajman and Sharjah, UAE

Schedule: 6 days per week | 12-hour shift

Role purpose

Operate and supervise the milling shift to achieve flour quality, extraction and production targets.

Experience and mandatory requirements

Minimum 5 years as a Shift Miller specifically in flour mills.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and adjust milling equipment, including chakki equipment where applicable.
• Monitor wheat preparation, feed rates, grinding, sieving and flour output against specifications.
• Check milling performance and coordinate sampling with the quality team.
• Identify blockages, equipment abnormalities and process losses; coordinate corrective action.
• Maintain shift production records, material reconciliation and clear handover notes.
• Enforce mill hygiene, dust control and safe operating practices.

Skills and capabilities

• Practical knowledge of flour milling, product consistency and extraction control.
• Ability to troubleshoot process issues and coordinate with maintenance.
