About Ask Marta

Ask Marta is an AI-powered relationship and personal clarity app built around one simple belief: sometimes, we need a different perspective to see what we're too close to understand.

We're building a thoughtful, intuitive digital companion that helps people navigate relationships, recognise patterns and approach everyday situations with greater clarity and confidence.

With Ask Marta now available on iOS and Android, we're looking for a talented Mobile App Developer to help us build the next chapter.

The Role

We're looking for a developer who combines strong technical expertise with genuine product curiosity.

You'll work closely with our founding team to develop new features, improve the user experience, optimise performance and support the continued growth of Ask Marta.

What You'll Do

• Develop, maintain and optimise our iOS and Android applications.
• Build intuitive, responsive and reliable mobile experiences.
• Integrate APIs and AI-powered features.
• Identify and resolve bugs, performance issues and technical bottlenecks.
• Support app releases, updates and ongoing maintenance.
• Collaborate with the founders on product features, priorities and technical decisions.
• Implement scalable solutions with security, privacy and reliability in mind.
• Help shape the long-term technical direction of the product.

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience developing and publishing mobile applications.
• Strong proficiency in Flutter, React Native or native iOS/Android development.
• Experience working with REST APIs, authentication and backend integrations.
• Familiarity with App Store and Google Play release processes.
• Understanding of mobile application architecture, testing and performance optimisation.
• Experience integrating AI services or LLM APIs is an advantage.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
• A product-first mindset and attention to detail.

Why Join Ask Marta?

This is an opportunity to contribute meaningfully to an early-stage product.

You'll work directly with the founding team, have a voice in product development and help shape an app designed to make everyday conversations and decisions easier to navigate.

We're a small team with ambitious plans, and we're looking for someone who enjoys building, experimenting and turning ideas into exceptional digital experiences.

How to Apply

Send us your CV, GitHub or portfolio, and links to mobile apps you've developed.

We'd also love to hear briefly about a product you've built and what made it technically interesting.
