Mobile Development Engineer

Job Purpose:

Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality Android applications using Kotlin and Kotlin Multiplatform (KMM). The role focuses on building scalable, secure, and high-performing mobile solutions, including map-based features, while following modern development practices such as Clean Architecture, MVVM, automated testing, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-quality Android applications using Kotlin
• Build and optimize map-based features (e.g., location tracking, routing, markers, geofencing)
• Follow Clean Architecture principles to ensure scalable, maintainable, and testable code
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend teams to define and implement features
• Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code
• Identify and fix bugs, performance bottlenecks, and memory leaks
• Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development standards

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum 6 years of experience in Android application development
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin & Jetpack Compose
• Proven experience in developing map-based Android applications (Google Maps, Mapbox, or similar)
• Good understanding of Clean Architecture, MVVM, and separation of concerns
• Experience with Android Jetpack components (ViewModel, LiveData, Room, Navigation, etc.)
• Knowledge of RESTful APIs and JSON integration
• Experience with third-party libraries and SDKs
• Familiarity with Git or other version control systems
• Experience with dependency injection (Hilt/Dagger/Koin)
• Knowledge of Coroutines and Flow
• Experience with unit testing and UI testing
• Understanding of app performance optimization and security best practices
• Knowledge of Kotlin Multiplatform
• Knowledge of Compose Multiplatform
