Network Engineer

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Administer LAN, WAN, routing, switching, wireless, VPN and network-security components within the approved scope
• Monitor network health, capacity and availability and respond to alerts, incidents and performance degradation
• Troubleshoot connectivity across offices, data centres, hosted environments and approved external services
• Coordinate approved changes with telecom providers, TDRA and other relevant parties
• Maintain network diagrams, IP plans, configuration baselines, inventories, backups and operational runbooks
• Support firewall-rule, segmentation and secure-connectivity activities in coordination with cybersecurity
• Contribute to resilience, capacity, failover and disaster-recovery testing
• Participate in agreed on-call coverage for critical network incidents

Minimum Experience And Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of enterprise network engineering experience
• Strong knowledge of routing, switching, TCP/IP, wireless, VPN, firewalls and network monitoring
• CCNP or equivalent professional-level certification preferred; CCIE is an advantage
• Relevant Fortinet, Palo Alto or equivalent security-platform experience preferred
• Strong incident troubleshooting and technical documentation capability
