Senior Cloud Security & DevSecOps Engineer (Contract)

Location: Dubai

Contract Duration: 6 months

Experience: 8 years in IT/security, including 4 years in cloud security or DevSecOps The Role:

A hands-on engineering role securing cloud platforms, applications and CI/CD pipelines in a regulated banking environment. You’ll implement security controls and work directly with engineering teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement and maintain security controls across Azure and/or AWS: IAM, least privilege, encryption, secrets management and monitoring
• Embed security into CI/CD pipelines (SAST, DAST, SCA, container scanning)
• Secure Kubernetes, Docker and Terraform-based infrastructure
• Fix vulnerabilities in applications, APIs and dependencies alongside development teams
• Contribute to threat modelling, risk assessments and security design reviews

Essential Requirements:

• Hands-on cloud security experience in Azure and/or AWS
• Proven DevSecOps implementation in production CI/CD environments
• Strong Kubernetes, Docker and container security skills
• Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code
• Solid knowledge of IAM/RBAC, encryption, secrets management, API security and OWASP
• Banking or financial services experience
