Cinergie Digital is hiring an experienced Senior Software Engineer – Tableau Development & SQL Data Analytics to join our Data Engineering and Analytics team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience in Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server, advanced SQL, data analytics, dashboard development, and data visualization.

The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, deploying, and maintaining complex Tableau dashboards and analytical solutions. The role requires the ability to understand business requirements, work with large datasets, optimize dashboard performance, and translate business needs into effective technical and visualization solutions.

The successful candidate will also work closely with business stakeholders, product owners, data engineers, and other technical teams to deliver high-quality analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain complex and interactive Tableau dashboards and reports.
• Develop data visualizations based on business and technical requirements.
• Work extensively with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server to build and publish enterprise-level dashboards.
• Develop dashboards using advanced Tableau features including:
• Calculated fields
• Parameters

• Advanced charts and visualizations

• Develop customized graphs and visualizations to effectively communicate complex data insights.
• Work with large datasets and optimize Tableau workbooks, dashboards, extracts, and queries for better performance.
• Write and optimize advanced SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, validation, and analysis.
• Work with relational databases and understand database structures, relationships, and data models.
• Perform data analysis and generate meaningful business insights using Tableau and advanced SQL.
• Integrate and analyze data from multiple data sources where required.
• Understand data models, relationships, normalization, and data quality considerations.
• Perform data validation and reconciliation between Tableau dashboards and underlying databases.
• Conduct thorough unit testing and dashboard testing before releasing solutions to business users.
• Investigate production issues, identify root causes, and implement permanent solutions.
• Troubleshoot data, dashboard, visualization, performance, and refresh-related issues.
• Participate in iterative review cycles and incorporate stakeholder feedback to improve dashboards and analytical solutions.
• Work closely with business users and Product Owners to gather and understand requirements.
• Translate complex business requirements into technical specifications and Tableau solutions.
• Prepare technical designs, estimates, development plans, and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with cross-functional technical and business teams to ensure successful delivery.
• Track assigned activities and issues through to closure.
• Follow industry standards and best practices for Tableau development, SQL development, data visualization, testing, and deployment.
• Maintain accuracy, consistency, usability, and performance of dashboards and reports.
• Support Tableau Server activities, including dashboard publishing, scheduling, permissions, user access, and other relevant administration activities.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of reporting, analytics, and data visualization processes.

• Strong experience with Tableau Desktop.

Qualifications

• Overall Experience: 5–8 years in BI, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence Development, or a related field.
• Tableau Experience: Minimum 3 years of hands-on Tableau development experience.
• Strong experience in Tableau Desktop and Tableau Server.
• Strong Advanced SQL experience.
• Experience working with large datasets and enterprise reporting environments.
• Experience in data modeling, relational databases, and data analytics.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Analytics, or a related field is preferred.
