System Engineer

Position: Systems Engineer

Job Type: Contract, Yearly renewable

Location: Sharjah

Technical Skills

• Windows Server 2016/2019/2022 administration
• Active Directory, DNS, DHCP and Group Policy
• Hyper-V and VMware virtualisation
• Remote Desktop Services (RDS) and IIS administration
• Veeam Backup & Replication; backup, restore and DR testing
• Exchange Server administration
• Patch management, configuration management and documentation

Mandatory Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in System Administration or Computer Engineering (mandatory)
• Minimum 5 years of relevant systems administration experience
• Hands-on experience with the client environment listed above
• Willingness to work shifts / on-call when required

Preferred / Advantage

• Certifications, e.g. Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator, VMware VCP-DCV, Veeam VMCE
• Experience in a UAE government or large enterprise environment
