As a QA QC Lead, my primary objective is to support the Quality Management System (QMS) operations by managing staff, coordinating inspections, and ensuring quality of the products manufactured and supplied.

I aim to create a positive and productive work environment by communicating with team members, setting clear goals, and monitoring performance.

I have over 14 years of progressive professional experience in the field of welding engineering, QA/QC management, fabrication inspection and quality assurance within structural steel, pressure vessels, piping, storage tanks and skid-based projects.

Currently, I am working as a QA/QC Lead (Mechanical – Welding & Painting) with Automech Group of Companies, UAE. My professional responsibilities include overall quality management, welding procedure review and qualification (WPS/PQR), welder qualification and surveillance, NDT planning and review, fabrication inspection, pressure testing, coating inspection and coordination with clients and third-party inspection agencies.

I hold a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering and CSWIP 3.1 Certified Welding Inspector with more than 10 years of certification validity, and I also hold ASNT Level II certifications in UT, MT and PT, along with AMPP Certified Coating Inspector Level 2. I have actively participated in ASME audits, vendor assessments and client inspections, and I am well-versed with international codes and standards such as ASME, AWS, API, ASTM, BS-EN, ISO and NACE.
