I am a Civil Engineer with around five years of professional experience in the UAE and additional experience in Pakistan, specializing in QA/QC, civil inspection, construction quality control, and infrastructure projects.

Currently, I am working as a QA/QC Engineer, where I am responsible for ensuring construction activities comply with approved drawings, project specifications, method statements, ITPs, and quality standards. My experience includes railway infrastructure, utilities, concrete works, waterproofing, finishing works, façade, steel structures, and various inspection and testing activities.

I am a detail-oriented, responsible, and hardworking professional with strong coordination skills and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards. I enjoy solving site challenges, working with multidisciplinary teams, and continuously improving my technical knowledge.

My goal is to contribute my experience and skills to a professional organization where I can take on greater responsibilities, deliver quality results, and continue growing as a Civil/QAQC Engineer.

QA/QC Engineer – Civil | UAE | 5+ Years of Experience

Civil QA/QC Engineer with 5+ years of professional experience in UAE construction and infrastructure projects, specializing in quality assurance, quality control, inspection, testing, documentation, and compliance with project specifications and international standards.

Manage overall QA/QC activities for civil and infrastructure works, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, method statements, ITPs, and project quality requirements.
Review and monitor Material Submittals, Method Statements, ITPs, MIRs, ITRs, NCRs/NNCs, RFIs, and technical documentation.
Coordinate with the Consultant, Client, Main Contractor, Subcontractors, and site teams to resolve quality issues and maintain project quality standards.
Develop and maintain QA/QC logs, inspection records, NCR/NNC registers, punch lists, and quality documentation.
Monitor and coordinate testing activities including concrete trial mixes, FDT, PLT, CBR, concrete testing, waterproofing tests, façade water/air pressure tests, and Factory Acceptance Tests.
Ensure materials are supplied and installed according to approved submittals, specifications, drawings, and project requirements.
Monitor civil works including concrete, structural works, waterproofing, utilities, GRP pipes, stormwater drainage, manholes, trenching, backfilling, geotextile, façade, ceiling, and architectural finishes.
Identify non-conformities, coordinate corrective and preventive actions, and follow up until successful closure.
Participate in quality audits, inspections, testing, handover, and project closeout activities.
Promote a strong quality culture and ensure continuous improvement throughout project execution.
