- Supporting the overall operations management and corporate decision-making to ensure the organization maximizes its short, medium and long-term profitability and shareholder returns
- Formulating Annual Business Plan (ABP) for Oman region i.e. working on bottom up approach for India & SAARC Countries; Identifying projects in Oil & Gas industries starting from end user initiation through EPC phases
- Developing, reviewing and reporting on the business development division’s strategy, ensuring the strategic objectives are well understood and executed by the team
- Restructuring operations and introducing important measures to bring in profitability which include establishment of new local offices, strategic partner alliances for business processes and team re-organization
- Engaging with consultancy firms such as Boston Consulting to formulate the strategic plan i.e. Foot Print and Go-to -Market Strategy for Tissue Business Unit with a vision to be Market leader in defined time frame
- Steered business operations for the profit center with a view to realize pre-planned sales and revenue targets; formulating profit center budget for operational / business development activities
- Evaluating Country Business Plan (CBP), investment needs, growth assumptions, working with each manufacturing units to finalize robust cost efficient plans through improving production yields and cost savings measures
- Directing the expansion of channel business by sourcing new partners and maintaining efficient business relationships with existing partners to enhance profitability of business operations
Highlights:
- Augmented market share by securing 3 years supply contract for consumables of competitors’ installations (total 12 vessels) 2019
- Brought in the contract award expected in 2019 of high consumable value (ongoing)
- Developed business relations with new four Key accounts 2019 in addition to maintaining successful business with the major oil and gas operators in Oman
- Improved the Services sales and secured the first award and 2 renewals of rental service agreement with coverage of 3 major plants in Oman
Increased the new installation sales by securing the award of end user and local EPC projects (11 new vessels in 2018-2019)
