I recently graduated from the American University of Beirut, with a BA in agribusiness and I’m eager to gain experience, which hopefully would help me garner a full-time position in your company in the future.
I am confident that the skill set that I possess would make me the perfect candidate for the role, as I am meticulous with detail, fit well in different environments and have a positive can-do attitude. I enjoy working as part of a team, as I am equally comfortable working on my own initiative.
During my last semester at the university, I took a course where the final deliverable was a macroeconomics project. I led a team of 4 students where I took initiative to divide tasks equally among team members. I worked closely with each one of them to make sure we are on track and that the work in progress was of high-quality.
Through this project, I learned how to research quantitative and qualitative data. This tremendous experience has taught me how to lead a group of individuals and allowed me to develop exceptional time management and communication abilities.
Last but not least, I am a native French speaker, as I am fluent in English and Arabic too. I possess excellent communication skills, a highly professional attitude and an important ability to work and perform well in a team.
My long-term career goals are to work with a company that offers challenges and develops employees, and this internship would help me give the knowledge and experience I need to achieve this.
