Oversees the management of the Staff Health program and the workplace HIV/AIDS Program at all ICRC sites
Implements and supervises Staff Health policies and the workplace HIV/AIDS Program at all sites
Prepares, updates, and disseminates the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for medical evacuation for ICRC’s staff from field to the capital, and to out of the country.
Net works, liaises, and Coordinates medevac procedures with all relevant departments and partners in order to activate medevac timely and efficiently when necessary (WFP, AirOps, reference hospitals, Management, Security, Welcome, and Fleet).
Identifies context and workplace risks, and evaluates health risks adjusted to working conditions
Updates/disseminates medical contingency plan regularly to adjust to needs and the delegation growth
Prepositions/replenishes emergency medical kits in all subsites, assesses and identifies reference hospitals for stabilization, and ambulance services to ensure rapid response to emergencies.
Monitors national health risks, diseases outbreak, natural disasters, and national response and reports to delegation Management and provides necessary feedback and recommendations.
Raises the staff awareness on health diseases or hazards, reinforces preventive/mitigation measures, identifies local resources, and collaborates and networks with relevant stake holders (MoH, MSF, WHO)
Follows up and compiles national health guidelines and protocols, reports to Management, and shares with staff to ensure compliance with them.

Identifies mental health needs/risks, conducts mapping of local and regional Mental Health resources, assesses local mental health facilities, provides mental health awareness sessions and basic psychological support.
Facilitates referrals from field to KHA, and from South Sudan to KHA for the ICRC’s staff, follows up cases, provides feedback to ICRC’s juba Staff Health on referred cases
