• Incoming raw/packaging material and product labels inspections to ensure that the materials received are correct and its of standard specifications.
• Ensure raw materials & packaging, in process and final inspection, testing are carried out and recorded according to procedures.
• Inspection of finished goods, packaging and labelling.
• Production in-line quality control checks, equipment inspection, including calibration of QC test equipment such as pH, weighing scales, thermometers, etc.
• Communicate with relevant departments and ensure product manufactured complies with specifications and ensure production records and proper filing of relevant documents.
• packaging integrity test.
• Making rounds at production floor to ensure workers are adhering.
• Perform chemical analysis and records for incoming, in process and finished product.
• Maintain good housekeeping of the laboratory.
• Prepare additives for production such as preservatives, acidulants, flavours, etc.
• Other Quality Control duties given by department head.
