As an experienced teacher with 6 years of experience in delivering business and economics subjects on site and online using different learning platforms, I’m excited to apply my experience and knowledge in your high school business studies teacher role. I hold a bachelor degree in business and economics and currently finishing my MBA degree from the University of Wollongong in Dubai, I have also an extensive experience in teaching business and economics at the high school with the ability of making the students enjoy their learning journey in these subjects by relating the concepts learned to their daily life activities. Throughout my teaching role, I have taught different curriculums ranging from IGCSE, International A levels “Cambridge and EDEXCEL” and International Baccalaureate.
My passion for these subjects enabled my students to achieve outstanding results in their external exams to an extent that one of my IB students achieved a full mark in business management in the academic year 2020-2021. I believe in the importance of subject knowledge and that the teacher should be a subject expert but, this knowledge isn’t enough since a good educator must be aware of the individual differences of the students and therefore adopt differentiation strategies along with other pedagogical approaches such as collaborative learning to enable students reaching their full potential. As a passionate teacher I believe that learning is an endless journey for me personally and therefore I’m advancing in my MBA with an expected date of completion By July 2022.
To enhance my career further, I have attended and completed various internal and external professional development sessions in teaching different curriculums and some of these were conducted abroad in Europe
