Possess 5+ years of experience in Power BI, DAX (Data Analysis Expression), and
Microsoft BI Tools - SSIS, SSRS with SQL Server
- Experienced in SSIS for ETL Tasks, SSRS for report deployment on Report Server
- Proficient in Power BI data driven tasks like analysis, extraction, cleaning, validation,
summarization, manipulating, creating datasets and generating reports.
- Proficiency in SQL and Power BI for various data driven tasks like analysis, extraction,
cleaning, validation, summarization, manipulating, creating datasets and generating reports.
- Good knowledge on MS Power BI concepts like Data Modelling, DAX Functions, SSIS and created various views in Power BI (Bar charts, Line charts, pie chart, Heat Maps, Bubble
Charts and maps etc.,).
- Experience in creating interactive dashboards using Power BI. Designing, building and deploying, publishing data in services.
- Experience in handling large data sets to perform complex data manipulations and writing pre-processing macros.
- Experience in designing and development of MIS, business reporting and ad-hoc analysis.
- Communicate with end users, gather requirements, code/configure, maintain, test, and debug modifications to existing applications of basic to high complexity or execute the same in the development of new applications.
- Proactively communicates development status, issues and concerns to management with mitigation recommendations.
- Visualize data and information for business customers through the creation of reports and queries using Microsoft's technology stack.
- Create Power BI reports based on business requirements with linked content,
drilldowns, and nested parameters.
- Optimize Microsoft Power BI dashboards with a focus on usability, performance,
flexibility, testability, and standardization.
- Develop concepts of reports, analytics and visualizations development, using DAX, SQL,
tuning, data models and semantic models.
- Understand cloud migration techniques (on premise to Cloud Platforms)
- Create and administer App Workspaces to control permissions and access to PBI dashboard.
- Ensure reports meet data accuracy, query performance, usability and functionality requirements.
- Leverage MS BI tools to answer questions, solve problems, and create reporting solutions.
- Create technical and maintenance documentation as needed.
- Communicate effectively with both business, technical stakeholders as well as leadership
- Pulling the data from all types of Databases in the world/ all types of flat files.
- Data cleaning and Data Mining as per the business requirements to get best visuals.
- Creating the graphs like line, bar, dual axis charts, maps based on scenarios of the
Dashboards etc.
- Creating the graphs which are not available in the Power BI directly (for power BI which ever available in gallery).
- Creating all the types of Filters/ Sets/ Groups/ Hierarchies/ Calculation’s/ DAX as per requirement.
- Creating good looking and understandable sheets/ Dashboards/ Reports/ Tiles etc., by following some standard formatting rules with multiple versions with multiple formats.
- Checking/Improving the performance of the reports for faster accesses.
- Doing R&D to resolve the issues and options which are not available in the products like limitation issues. End-to-end experience in designing and deploying data visualizations.
- Ability to grasp and Learn new technologies effectively if the Project Required
