am B.E Chemical and have 16 years of Piping engineering, Sr. Piping Engineer, Area Lead Engineer on various domestic and international organisation in Oil & gas, (Green and Brown field), Petrochemical & Refinery projects. A Piping Engineer having extensive and broad experience (in India, Belgium, Dubai) in Detailed Engineering of Oil & Gas, Petrochemical Refinery projects, Fertilizers for Clients Kuwait oil, Adnoc, Shell, Sonatrach-Algeria, IOCL, BPCL, Chevron, etc.

Also Done Piping detail Engineering and Layout activity for Columns, Heat Exchangers, Pumps, Tank, Seperator, Reactor, Drum, Compressor, Flare, Pig Launcher and Receiver, Furnace, Separator, Pipe rack, Utility and Under Ground lines. Has been involved in site co-ordination and supervision during construction, project management functions, liaison with client, vendors, process licensors,

Roles & Responsibilities:-

1) Overall operation of the Piping Specialists group and effective design by taking care of feasibility, operation, maintenance, safety of equipment components and system and plant economical, Clash free, completing work within the given schedule for the assigned Project. Preparation of Piping Material Specification, valve data sheet & valve material Specification, Pipe wall thickness calculation.

2) Prepare and checking MTO, GA, equipment drawing, rack drawing and special support drawing, material requisition and issued for IFC. Plan and manage project reports and design specifications for piping systems.

3) Provide IDC support mark up to the civil department. Analyze dynamics and vibrations of mechanical systems and civil structure design for avoiding system failures or unexpected maintenance problems.

• Ensuring engineering and design quality, technical accuracy of drawings, material, support, civil drawings with load etc. are produced within the Piping disciplines. Co-ordinates the installation, modification and commissioning of mechanical or Piping system support with team and at construction sites. Keep good communication with team members and other designers and engineers..
• Conduct a weekly (or as required) coordination meeting with the Piping design team and follow SOP’s.
• In the meeting resolve all the doubts and discuss all technical instruction received from the management. Supervise and co-ordinates with other teams and technicians, engineers and review and approve designs, calculations and cost estimates.
• Prepare an effort hour estimate and determine the staffing required for the applicable phase of the project.
• Assign design responsibilities for all members of the piping design team. Carry team members along with me.
• Give helping hand to the team if they are lagging behind due to any project issue.
• Maintain Line list updated, master PID’s copy markup, all equipment drawing and other project related documents in a common folder for reference until project completion.

11) Prepared an isometric issue schedule for the project and get approve from project Manager and department Manager and made aware to piping team.

12) Maintain a change notice log indicating which changes have been approved.

• Submit Weekly Progress reports and drawing indices to Project Manager.
• Assist in the developing and training of subordinate personnel.
• Ensure that the 3D model represents satisfactory design practice and participate in internal and client model review and take action on the comments received from clients.

16) Resolving and updating all comments received from other departments and all piping related issues coming in report.

17) Prepare the Deliverables Verification plan and ensure all deliverables are checked accordingly before being issued.
