Research is a systematic effort to gain new knowledge. I do possess a dynamic instinct to carry out research by applying scientific methods and by probing into the matters that confront us in our day-to-day life, especially in the teaching and learning process. The purpose of any kind of research is to expand the present acquired knowledge by providing solutions to problems.

I am very much interested in carrying out research projects, field research, and guiding research scholars. I have guided nearly 10 Ph.D. scholars 10 have been awarded and two are pursuing still. I can effectively make use of any method which largely depends on the availability and utilization of adequate sources of information, defining objectives, clearly defined research problems, planning, careful data analysis, and data interpretation.

J.W. Best says that educational research is an activity that directs the investigator toward the progression of scientific behavior in the educational environment. The main purpose of any research is to help the researcher to achieve his /her goals by using effective research methods.

Inquisitiveness is the mother of all knowledge and when one makes an effort to acquire such knowledge, then it is said to research. I am very much interested in research.

Brief Statement of your "Teaching interest" for the next 3 to 5 years * I love teaching and teaching is my passion. I do possess experience in teaching at all levels. At present, I am handling Managerial Communication and Soft skills for Management Students. Besides, I have authored books on teaching approaches and Methods. I am interested in teaching Soft skills and Managerial communication as well as in Language Education and English.
