Farid Memariani

Farid Memariani is a strategic technology executive and multi-disciplinary architect with over 15 years of experience in engineering high-scale distributed systems, driving digital transformation, and pioneering AI-native ecosystems. His career is characterized by a "founder-level ownership" mindset, having successfully scaled engineering organizations from inception to over 300 members while maintaining mission-critical reliability for fintech and enterprise platforms.

Core Pillars of Expertise

1. Executive Leadership & Strategic Scaling

Farid has a proven track record of leading organizations through hyper-growth phases. As CDIO at BimeBazar, he managed a workforce expansion from 90 to 600 employees, doubling revenue through the design of multi-tenant, white-label architectures. He excels at aligning R&D efforts with business objectives, fostering high-velocity engineering cultures, and managing multi-million dollar infrastructure budgets.

2. High-Scale Infrastructure & Platform Engineering

An expert in cloud-native modernization, Farid has orchestrated complex migrations from legacy monoliths to high-availability Kubernetes clusters across decentralized data centers. His technical interventions—such as neutralizing week-long DDoS onslaughts at Alibaba (Jabama) and maintaining 99.9% SLAs for the country’s leading trading engine at Mofid Securities—demonstrate his ability to govern resilient, 24/7 global infrastructures.

3. AI Transformation & MLOps

Farid is at the forefront of the AI-native shift. He spearheaded the AI division at BimeBazar, where he oversaw the deployment of LLM-powered agentic workflows and voice-integrated chatbots on IVR, mechanizing 50% of support inquiries. His experience spans the full ML lifecycle, including specialized OCR for claims processing, risk assessment engines for personalized pricing, and high-performance MLOps pipelines using Kubeflow.

4. Fintech, Crypto & Web3 Ecosystems

With deep roots in the financial technology sector, Farid has pioneered high-throughput matching engines and secured digital asset infrastructures. As CTO in Residence at Bitex, he rebuilt the "Pooleno" crypto exchange from the ground up, increasing capacity by 300x, and launched complex DeFi protocols within two-month windows. His experience includes digital asset custody (Fireblocks), VARA compliance, and high-concurrency NFT launches handling 10k+ TPS.

5. Industrial IoT & Large-Scale Operations

His experience extends into hardware-software integration and industrial scale. At Mihan Mehr, he managed one of the region’s largest Bitcoin mining operations, governing the procurement and maintenance of 60,000 devices. He has forged centralized monitoring systems for power plants and IoT telemetry for the water industry, showcasing a rare ability to handle massive data streams from physical assets.
