. Ever since I started teaching, I have been enthusiastic in commitment to three things: maximizing individual student’s performance, inspiring students’ interest in learning and instilling a sense of self-worth among all students. I have dedicated my career to each of these pursuits.

It is the need of the hour to prepare youth to be individuals with high moral character and responsible citizens of community. Besides maintaining academic standards, I also strive to instil these values in my students. In my teaching career, I have provided effective classroom management, creative lesson plans, detailed student evaluations and highly praised instructional delivery.

Earned high marks for the quality and creativity of classroom teaching, and positive relationships with students, parents, fellow teachers, and school administrators/staff. In my most recent position, I have received appreciation in Teacher’s Evaluation by my senior leaders and scored ‘Good’ in most of the parameters and was given the opportunity to model my lessons to my peers. I am responsible for planning lessons for Year 6.

I have hugely enjoyed developing myself as a teacher in my current position and would be very keen to continue that development. In my previous positions, as HEAD OF THE DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL STUDIES in Gulf Indian High School, Dubai, I got a “GOOD” ranking in 2019-2020 inspection by KHDA, DUBAI, for my department across all phases. I also initiated some new plans to develop critical thinking and innovative skills amongst the students.

Along with student’s attainment, I also helped the teachers in their professional development by mentoring and helping them write and execute good lesson plans. I am a strong advocate of student wellbeing and social development and employ a range of tactics when approaching educational or pastoral issues in my classrooms. I feel confident that I can be an asset to your school whilst continuing to develop personally as an educator.
