I have recently graduated from the University of Wollongong, Dubai campus (UOWD) with a Bachelor of Commerce (Accountancy) degree (aggregate of 75%). I also passed the final exam of UK’s Chartered Institute of Management Accountants. My academic performance has been very good as illustrated in my CV. I attained admission in UOWD on a scholarship and maintained this scholarship through all semesters. I am fluent in written and spoken English.
My specialized core subjects at the UOWD were Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, Information Systems in Accounting, Auditing and Assurance Services, and International Taxation. I have also studied Risk management, Strategy, and Financial strategy as part of the CIMA Strategic case study paper.
I have in the past interned in the customer service department at the Dubai branch of National Bank of Oman for 2 weeks in December 2016. I further interned at Mashreq Bank in the Corporate Finance department for 1 month in August-September 2021.

The internship gave me an insight into the process of clearing inward and outward cheques within and outside the NBO network, transferring funds in various currencies, working at the ATM, recording details of all incoming parcels, daily morning meetings as an observer, and the role of the Compliance Manager in issuing loans
Mashreq Bank, Head Office, Corporate Finance department - 15th August - 14th September 2021. My work included: Helping the Corporate Finance team with research work, Analyzing financial statements and Preparing First Information Reports for companies requiring loans.
