Haitham Medhat

First and foremost, I am a maker. I manipulate visual elements, sounds, words, and combinations of those things. My core skills are in the realm of art direction, crafting, and packaging design, with a strong supporting periphery of skills in brand development, photography, and analytical thinking.

Professionally, I have 18 years of experience in advertising, brand, big ad agencies, and in-house retail types. I generally try to defy narrow roles and have consistently taken a more creatively holistic and involved approach to direct, developing, designing, and executing in several ways for a variety of clients and projects.

Throughout my career, I have always tried to let my passion and enthusiasm for my work shine through. Despite my success as an independent designer, I have found that teamwork allows me to reach my greatest potential. With more than 18 years of professional experience, I have had the opportunity to work with different brands in different sectors from FMCG, hospitality, sports, and luxury brands.

My experience in packaging has given me the ability to challenge briefs in a way that not only meets but exceeds client expectations. However, creative inspiration does not come without obstacles! Time management and meeting tight deadlines, but overcoming these obstacles is the foundation of design.

In all my work, I have enjoyed these challenges and used them to spur my ambition and maintain high standards.
