Having been raised in the United Arab Emirates and enrolled in an international school, I am adaptable to a range of roles and capable of working in a variety of environments.

WAITER, THE REGENCY RESTAURANT, BRIGHTON, UNITED KINGDOM

During the summer after I successfully completed my degree I worked as a waiter at The Regency Restaurant, a well-known and respected restaurant in Brighton.

Responsibilities;

• Serving customers food and drinks in a timely manner
• Checking up on customers making sure they are having a pleasant visit to the restaurant
• Resolving customer issues and complaints
• Communicating with chefs to make sure they are aware of customer progress with each course so they receive their order when appropriate

Working in this restaurant allowed me to develop communication skills as I would be greeting customers, taking orders, delivering their food and checking up on them. I would utilize my problem-solving skills to resolve issues and complaints in a timely and professional manner.

JULY 2021 – AUGUST 2021

CHEF, BRIGHTON PALACE PIER, BRIGHTON, UNITED KINGDOM

I worked at the Brighton Palace Pier during the break between university term times. Responsibilities;

• Cooking a range of food for customers
• Handling cash and communicating with customers
• Receiving tasks from superiors along with delegating tasks to others

While working here I developed important skills, such as time management and communication, that allowed me to successfully work in an environment with a large amount of pressure and responsibility.
