Facilities Manager equipped with 15+ years of progressively responsible experience, highly focused with a comprehensive knowledge and understanding of various sectors such as facility management, operations, construction, purchase, security, Health & safety. A track record of successfully employing best business practices that improve efficiency, reduce consistent operating costs whilst increasing productivity.
Manage facilities operations encompassing safety, security, capital improvements, and maintenance. Coordinate AED5-6M annual capital improvement FM budget.
Track, monitor & control facility operating costs, contract expenditures, and future upgrades.
Responsible for facility operations of entire university campus & manage all aspects associated with building and office maintenance, security, office furniture, equipment’s & facilities;
Ensuring the building meets health and safety requirements and that facilities comply with legislation;
Organizing and supervising purchasing functions of RAKMHSU
Tendering and operation of Construction, Facilities Management & Maintenance Contracts & drafting reports and making written recommendations;
Managing operating budgets & making needed adjustments to ensure cost-effectiveness;
Overseeing and agreeing contracts and providers for services including security, cleaning, MEP, landscaping, pest control, and so on;
Enhanced facility services, safety, and quality, while preventing cost overruns by developing vendor contract specifications, tracking/evaluating project risks, and controlling processes;
Renovation and construction activities including planning, designing, cost estimating, budgeting, tendering, documentation and negotiating
Contracts Management as well as maintenance monitoring; Planning preoritizing best allocation and utilization of space and resources for new buildings, or re organizing current premises;
Led investigations of any security incidents on property and reported back on findings and action taken;
Implementation of all health and life-safety programs within the university; ∙ Planning and conducting Mock fire drill in coordination with Civil defense authority. ∙ Responding appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise and dealing with the consequences;
Co-managed and executed special projects with IT;
Planning for future development in line with strategic business objectives while managing and leading change to ensure minimum disruption to core activities;
