I have just graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology (Honours Specialization) at Western University. My employment background includes working as a Surgical Assistant at LasikMD where I scrubbed in and assisted ophthalmologists during laser eye surgery, cataract surgery, and refractive lens exchange surgery. On days where we did not perform surgeries, I worked as a Clinical Assistant in the clinic completing pre-operative examinations along side the optometrists.

In addition to my Clinical Assistant position, I would rotate and work as a Receptionist in the clinic, where I was in charge of booking patients with the optometrists and into surgeries, take phone calls and direct them to the appropriate staff, sending and receiving fax, amongst other office work. Furthermore, I am currently working as an Ocular Tissue Recovery Coordinator at Ontario Health. My responsibilities include assessing donors for eligibility, performing enucleations using aseptic techniques, and packaging and sending tissue in compliance with Health Canada.

I am also working as a Pharmacy Technician, on an as needed basis, at LunaRx Guardian Pharmacy, where I fill out prescriptions and aid in daily office work. These jobs, as well as other volunteer opportunities, have enhanced my leadership skills and critical thinking skills. I strongly believe these aspects add notability to my resume.
