• My love for animals started long ago as a toddler. My family always had pets in our household that I helped out with. We could never leave a homeless animal on the street if we had room in our home to make it feel welcome. Today, I still enjoy having pets in my life, but I can also do more to protect them by working in this industry. I would be a great addition to your team as a veterinary assistant. Since becoming a veterinary assistant, I have worked to help pets and their owners enjoy their lives together. Pets can't advocate for themselves, so it's important to make sure the owner is the key factor in the treatment plan. Because of this, I have worked hard to develop strong communication skills with pet owners, a skill highlighted in the job description. I have also striven to help evaluate a pef's issues to determine the best route for treatment. I think it is also important to carefully review an animal's past history so a more effective plan can be developed to treat conditions. I pay attention to these small details, which could potentially be helpful in many situations. Most of all, I enjoy spending time with all creatures, whether they are furry or scaly.
