I'm a part-qualified ACCA finance professional with 2 years of experience in data entry, bookkeeping, transaction processing, and updating financial models.

In my recent experience with Atom Services PVT Ltd, which was a 8 month contract role, I had to provide analysis of the marketing spend across the business. I engaged with various stakeholders and maintained an effective relationship to source all marketing-related information for my analysis.

Moreover, while working as an Assistant Accountant at Ecomstarz Limited, UK, my tasks included; receiving, processing, verifying invoices, dealing with suppliers queries & statements, making timely payments to avoid penalties, bank reconciliation, month-end accounts as well as generating system reports.

I also took the opportunity to join the Apprenticeship program in PTCL as a budgetary analyst where my experience consisted of learning how to create budgets for various geographical segments.

April 2022 to November 2022: Finance Analyst, Atom Services Limited, Lahore, Pakistan.

A management consulting firm providing services for business setup, digitalisation, social media marketing, brand development and web design.

I took on an eight months contract role to provide analysis of the marketing spend across the business. I engaged with various stakeholders and maintained an effective relationship to source all marketing related information for my analysis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analysing the PPC ad campaigns on Amazon for marketing department to direct the investments towards successful campaigns.
• Assisted in formulation of company budgets by tracking all the expenditure information and providing historic trends of actual cost performance.
• Assisted in preparation of the monthly management reports with necessary information in relation to marketing spend, conversion rate, sales, advertising cost ratio and cost per click.

Prepared marketing spend tracker of actuals vs budget by month among all the key categories of marketing and kept a detailed record of all supplier invoices.

January 2021 to March 2022: Assistant Accountant, Ecomstarz Limited (Remote), Luton, UK An e-commerce business providing services across various retail product line items with operations across the UK.

I joined the business as an Assistant Accountant to provide assistance with Accounts Payable function, supplier management and payments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsible for sourcing of new suppliers and negotiating the terms for new products.
• Preparing procurement reports of orders spend, product profitability and analysis of supplier orders.
• Tracking the inventory levels and re-ordering, maintaining stock reports and wastage/discrepancy variance.
• Processing of accounts payable invoices, tracking the spend by suppliers and setting up supplier payments through bank accounts.

Reconciliation of bank statements vs supplier payments and preparing schedules on a monthly basis.

September 2019 to November 2019: Apprenticeship (Budgetary Control), PTCL, Islamabad, Pakistan A national telecoms carrier providing communication solutions across Pakistan with annual revenues of Rs 75 Billion.

As a budgetary analyst I was exposed to preparation of budgets for various geographical segments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation and updating the budget models with historic actuals by categories of sales and cost of sales lines.
• Identifying the cost drivers and categorising the historic actuals by drivers.

Preparing actuals vs budget reports for the specific business unit along with variance analysis.
