Vehicle Coordination and maintenance, Port pass and other Dubai Trade related activities, Import & Export documentation, , Delivery arrangements, GPS Tracking, Fuel Management)
Ø Assist in managing all the company transport orders.
Ø Coordinate and allocate vehicles
Ø Ensure to track routes to assure on time deliveries to enterprise customers.
Ø Review and arrange all transportation paperwork inclusive of driver logs, DVIR’s, trip reports and invoices.
Ø Handle client concerns and direct problems to suitable parties.
Ø Support management team to supervise transportation personnel.
Ø Give driver assignments and monitor
Ø Inspect cost effectiveness, equipment and worker performance.
Ø Make sure all set company rules and regulations in transport are complied with
Ø Hire transport department personnel .
Ø Optimize the resources and accomplish the given tasks.
Ø Proficient in preparing various reports and GPS tracking.
Ø Generate vehicle monthly maintenance documents
Key Functions – Calicut International Airport (CCJ)
Ø Estimate freight rates, and record shipment costs and weights.
ØDirect or participate in cargo loading to flight to ensure completeness of load and even distribution of weight.
Ø Enter shipping information into databases or software programs.
Ø Verify shipping documentation, and track goods or materials.
Ø Coordinate operational activities and Maintain operational records
Ø Recommend packing or shipping methods and coordinate shipping activities.
Ø Notify consignees, and passengers of freight or baggage arrival and arrange for delivery.
Ø Coordinate and supervise activities of workers engaged in packing and loading.
ØInspect and count items received and check them against invoices or other documents, recording shortages and rejecting damaged goods
Ø Obtain flight numbers and record data on flight papers
Ø Attach address labels, identification codes, and shipping instructions to containers
Ø Install straps and braces to prevent shifting or damage during shipment
ØPack goods for shipping, using tools such as staplers and strapping machines
ØCustoms clearance and HUM clearance
Key Functions – Dubai International Airport – Baggage Handler
ØCollect, sort, check and load luggage against flight lists, making sure that the right items go on to the right aircraft
Ø Move freight and load it on and off the aircraft
Ø Load luggage onto conveyors in the arrivals hall
Ø Use cargo loaders and conveyor belts to move luggage to and from the aircraft
