Rawya Kammoun

A highly passionate and creative French teacher focused and professional, developing innovative and impactful teaching and learning strategies and memorable experiences for learners. My methodology is inspired by an active learning approach. I encourage learning through creativity, and I use multiple intelligence as a tool to embrace the diversity of student’s skills.

During my teaching career. I have developed a strong belief that students learn best when they are having active learning and employing creative and engaging methods. In my classroom practice, peace, respect love, and happiness are some essential values, I am enjoying by doing my best to instill all those positive values in the little minds as well young people to help them becoming more balanced and effective global citizens.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Effective integration of technologyand 21st Century skills in learning.
• Maintain and organize the classroom interest, motivation, participation, and discipline though innovative and creative teaching techniques to encourage a positive learning environment by using both in-class activities and online resources and platforms.
• Encourage students to feel “important” and to be moral persons.
• Using different range of strategies during each class to engage students.
• Evaluate and tracking progress of each student and create teaching strategies based on the individual’s pace.
• Meet individual student’s needs, and keeping parents informed of student progress, offer ideas and materials to continue the educational process at home.
• Equip students with the skills they need to pursue life-long learning.
• Develop critical and analytical thinking in students.
• Provide students with an opportunity to develop the capacity for independent learning.
• Engage students to participate in active learning process through practical conversational techniques and the use of multi-media tools.
• Monitor behavior, advise, and encourage observance of School Code.
• Working on the curriculum development, evaluation of student progress, coordination with Management, parents, and administration, facilitation of positive learning environments, and related administrative duties.
• Establish clear objectives for all lessons, units, and projects, and communicate the objectives to students.
• Working with colleagues, using assessments and data to plan motivating and inspiring lessons and classroom activities.
• Develop the academic and personal strengths of students, using a student-centered, with a focus on oral and written French language proficiency.
• Organizing conversational classes and fun events where students can engage with French culture.
• Participating in departmental meetings, parents' evenings, and whole school training events.
• Employ a variety of instructional techniques, standard grammar instruction, cooperative learning,

reinforcement of daily instruction via homework, and a variety of short stories, literature, film, music, and authentic cultural materials. Maximize meaningful personal achievement.
