Senior Sales & Operations Leader, MBA-qualified, with 20+ years of cross-functional experience driving revenue growth, market turnarounds, and operational excellence across the Middle East and India. My efforts have unlocked new revenue streams, liquidated aged inventory, and sustained profitability,even during periods of transition and disruption.
With over 22+ years of leadership across sales and operations in the GCC, spanning consumer durables, fashion retail, telecom, and IT consultancy, I bring a track record of transforming business units, optimizing performance, and driving sustainable growth across diverse sectors and geographies.
In my most recent role as Commercial Head – Sales & Operations at an IT consultancy, I led a cross-functional team of sales professionals, technical experts, and VSAT engineers. By redefining our client engagement strategy, we achieved an 80% quotation-to-conversion rate and signiicantly expanded our service footprint. During a critical sponsorship transition, I ensured uninterrupted operations through proactive coordination with suppliers and clients.
Prior to this, I spent over 15 years in the consumer durables sector, managing multi-category portfolios including Lighting, SDA, MDA, and Personal care across the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, and Bahrain. I held full P&L ownership, led large sales teams, optimized inventory and receivables, and oversaw channel management across distributors, Modern Trade, and traditional retail. Through cross-functional leadership, I successfully transformed under-performing business units into structured, customer-focused operations that delivered measurable and sustainable growth.
I Instilled performance discipline and coached teams of 180+ to deliver measurable growth while maintaining a culture of empowerment and accountability. My work with OEM brands such as Britelite, Vinverth, Mr Light, Mr Plus, and Focus involved everything from brand listings and campaign execution to SKU optimization and key account management.
In fashion retail, I served as Business Head and later Group GM, overseeing 14 outlets and more than 100 retail showroom staff. I introduced structured systems for performance tracking, inventory control, and leave planning, while leading stock liquidation and inter-branch transfers during the post-COVID recovery phase.
