Ritvik Kumar

I’m Ritvik Kumar Kothapalli from Dubai, United Arab Emirates. I studied at Cambridge International High school in Dubai UAE, during my high school course I participated in various Robotics competitions and won a competition known as Solar Rollers. I was awarded 10,000 AED for placing first among the best students in the UAE.

This is when my love for technology formed. In 2019, I got accepted at Pennsylvania State University where I am currently pursuing a degree in Human Centered Design and Development at the College of Information Science and Technology.

I am now a senior undergraduate student at the Pennsylvania State University majoring in Human Centered Design and Development. I am skilled in UX Design and Research and multiple programming languages and frameworks such as Figma, JavaScript, HTML, and React Native. My curiosity and craving for innovation are what drove me to learn about Human Centered Design and Development as well as User Experience Design.

I explore and innovate, and I believe my creative side brings something unique to the table and aids me in overcoming the challenges faced in this industry. Currently a UX Researcher at CAFU, the region's first fuel delivery application. Involved in successfully updating the UI of various UX/UI projects within the Holcim group, including Holcim, My Truck, and AFR Portal by wireframing, prototyping, and using tools such as Figma and Adobe Illustrator. Improved the UX of Holcim Applications by analyzing pain points and conducting Usability Testing and A/B Testing.

As a result of these efforts, user satisfaction increased by 40% and there was a 25% decrease in reported user frustrations.

I studied in Penn State University, majoring in Human Computer Interaction..
