HSE Officer with Professional Medical Background

• Prepares HSE Plan and Risk Assessments for as per the requirements and in consultation with the operations team.
• Prepares and maintains daily site reports, and submittions of closeout reports to the client and consultants.
• Prepare reports on workplace occurrences(Incident, accidents, Near miss, property damage) and provide statistical information on weekly, monthly, and yearly basis.
• Record KPI’s on a monthly basis and issue reports as necessary. Suggest and advise changes to ensure continual improvement on any additional effective KPls to be added in the system.
• Develops, implements and encourages the behavioral based safety culture in the organization.
• Communicates information and awareness on the HSE Management System through various communication channels like TBT’s, inductions, training, campaigns, flyers, discussions, emails etc. in consultation with all relevant departments.
• Inspection and processing of Work permits and ensure that they meet the standards before commencing works..
• Implements standard and safe working procedure/policies to avoid safety issues and reducing risks at workplace.
• Participate in planning/meetings to identify any health and safety concerns inherent in the operations daily daily activity.
• Carrying out site HSE inspections and submitting statistics and keeping records of inspection findings and produce reports that suggest improvements.
• Manages site clinic and ensures first aid and emergency equipment are always ready and available as per authority standards.
• Keeping records of workplace injuries and occupational illness and conducting health surveillance.
• Provides first aid treatment to injured or sick personnel and coordinates hospital referrals if needed. 14.

• Conducts health awareness campaigns in cooperation with local health facilities.
