Rosemarie Verano

I am an experienced Early Years practitioner with over ten years of teaching experience, including seven years in the UAE. I have a strong knowledge of the EYFS and a passion for supporting young children’s development through a balanced, play-based and engaging approach to learning.

In my current role as an FS1 Teacher at GEMS Founders School Dubai South, I plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons that promote progress across all areas of learning. I am committed to creating a safe, inclusive and stimulating environment where children are encouraged to become independent, confident and curious learners.

I have experience in curriculum planning and mentoring staff in my previous roles as a Nursery Teacher and Teacher Coordinator, which has strengthened my leadership and collaborative skills. I also place strong importance on positive relationships with parents and effective differentiation to meet the needs of all learners, including EAL students.

I hold a Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, am a PRC Licensed Teacher, and am currently pursuing a PhD in Education. I am fully trained in safeguarding and committed to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning.
