My name is Ruben Avalos. I was born in Argentina and have lived in the United Kingdom for the past 35 years. I am a 57-year-old man who is in excellent health, physically fit, and proud of my strong work ethic. I am honest, reliable, dependable, and always willing to work hard.
I am looking for an opportunity to start a career in the mining industry in Alaska. Working in mining has been a long-standing ambition of mine, and I am prepared to relocate and work in remote locations. I understand that mining requires commitment, physical stamina, and a strong focus on safety, and I am ready to meet those challenges.
Over the years, I have gained valuable hands-on experience in mechanical work, welding, maintenance, and working with tools and machinery. I enjoy practical work, solving mechanical problems, and learning new skills. I work well both independently and as part of a team, and I am always willing to put in the effort required to get the job done properly.
Although I may be new to the mining industry, I bring decades of practical experience, maturity, reliability, and a positive attitude. I am willing to start in an entry-level position, work hard, and prove myself. My goal is to build a long-term career in the Alaskan mining industry.

My work experience includes military service in the Argentine Army, followed by roles in landscaping, working in an abattoir, horse care and riding, operating tractors and agricultural machinery, and working in the construction industry. I also have experience in mechanical repairs, welding, maintenance, and using a variety of tools and equipment.
Completed my basic education in Argentina before beginning full-time employment. I have gained extensive practical skills and hands-on experience throughout my working life in mechanical work, welding, construction, landscaping, agriculture, and machinery operation.
