Worked as a general practitioner pediatrics in P.M.C Medical Centre, Dubai. My job duties and responsibilities are management of incoming patients, which included physical examination, history taking and ordering Lab investigation according to the patient’s need, studying the pathological reports, formulating a provisional diagnosis, recommending Lab tests and prescribing medication and treatments accordingly. Documents treatment on digital charting software, adhering to PMC medical center charting standards, including ongoing progress notes and test results.
Work with other physicians and supportive staff as a team in order to collaborate with duty work. Provide education to patients, families regarding medical conditions and their treatment options as well as preventative care strategies of nutrition, exercise and hygiene. Managing critically ill, and acute trauma patients in the emergency department and attending all pediatric emergencies like asthma, s exacerbation, croup, severe uti and nutritional deficiencies as well.
Counsel the patients and their families on different health issues, treatments and procedures. Performing minor surgical procedures. Liaising daily with staff including other doctors, non-medical management staff and healthcare professionals.
Writing reports and maintaining records. Promoting health education. Dealing insurance patients independently.
Experience of home/school visits. Leading a medical team.
