I am a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant with over 10 years of hands-on experience helping individuals improve their mobility, strength, and overall quality of life. Throughout my career, I’ve had the opportunity to work across a wide range of settings, including skilled nursing facilities (SNF), home health, hospital environments, and assisted living communities.
What I love most about my work is connecting with people and being part of their recovery journey. I take pride in providing compassionate, patient-centered care while collaborating closely with physical therapists and interdisciplinary teams to deliver effective, individualized treatment plans.
My diverse clinical background has allowed me to adapt quickly, communicate effectively with patients and caregivers, and maintain a strong focus on safety, progress, and functional independence. Physical therapy is more than just a profession for me. it’s a passion rooted in helping others regain confidence in their movement and daily lives.
I’m committed to continuous growth, professionalism, and making a positive impact wherever I work.
I’m a Physical Therapy Assistant with over 10 years of experience, and helping people move better and feel stronger has truly become one of my life’s passions. I’ve had the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including hospitals (inpatient and outpatient), skilled nursing facilities, long-term care, assisted living, and home health, which has shaped me into a flexible and well-rounded clinician.
What I enjoy most about my work is connecting with patients on a human level—meeting them where they are, encouraging them through challenges, and celebrating their progress, no matter how small. I believe effective therapy is not just about exercises, but about trust, communication, and compassion.
I take pride in providing gentle, skilled, and thoughtful care while working closely with physical therapists and care teams to support each patient’s individual goals. With a strong background in pain management and patient education, I strive to help people regain confidence, independence, and a better quality of life through movement.
Physical therapy isn’t just what I do. it’s what I genuinely care about.
I earned an Associate of Science in Physical Therapy Assisting from Vincennes University in 2015, completing advanced clinical training in therapeutic exercise, functional mobility, neuromuscular re-education, pain management, and patient safety. My education emphasized evidence-based treatment implementation, proper biomechanics, and collaboration within interdisciplinary rehabilitation teams.
In addition to my PTA education, I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Massage Therapy, which significantly distinguishes my clinical skill set from that of traditional Physical Therapy Assistants. This advanced training provided in-depth expertise in musculoskeletal anatomy, myofascial systems, soft tissue dysfunction, and pain modulation strategies. As a result, I bring a heightened level of hands-on assessment awareness and tissue-specific intervention skills that enhance patient comfort, improve mobility, and support faster functional carryover during rehabilitation.
This combined background allows me to approach treatment with a more comprehensive understanding of movement and soft tissue mechanics, enabling more precise cueing, improved tolerance to therapeutic exercise, and a patient-centered, integrative approach to care.
I also hold an Associate of Science in General Studies, supporting strong clinical communication, documentation accuracy, and critical thinking skills.
