Subject : Application for the position of ‘Clinical Dietician’

Dear Sir,

I take pleasure in submitting this application for the subject position and I attach my CV for your kind consideration.

As stated in my CV, I had gone through 5 months of Clerkship in early 2021 as a university of Sharjah prerequisite for graduation, and I have completed my 6 - month of post graduate internship in the University of Sharjah Hospital at 5th January 2022, upon which, I took the DHA Dietician Certification exam. After passing the exam, my eligibility letter (DHA certification) has been issued on April 12th, 2021.

My scope of work includes nutrition therapy for different medical codnditions and chronic cases, sports nurition, enteral/parenteral nutrition, pediatric nutrition, and nutrition through the lifecycle. In addition to designing flexible diet programs tailored for patient's energy and macronutrient needs, medical history, food preference, and daily schedule. I am passionate about therapeutic nutrition, food behaviour change, and healthy recipe development.

Since a young age, tasting food and learning about health were my main hobbies. As a dietitian, my main goal is to empower people to improve their food habits and behaviours using effective techniques to implement an everlasting change and achieve optimum health and fitness.

I would like to point out that, in addition to my academic background and the above mentioned practical experience, I do also have very good communication skills in both written & spoken English and Arabic as well as having very good computer skills. Accordingly, I am confident of my ability to take the subject position; however, I would appreciate scheduling a personal interview where I could better demonstrate my qualifications.
