I would like to introduce myself as Mrs Sujitha Sreejith working as a RCM application Specialist, Resubmission Officer and Senior Associate Medical Coder for the last 15 years . I have experience in the field of Application support,Claims rules,Building and redirecting of DHPO,Riayati,DOH rules in system,ensure training to users and client support ,Medical Coding ,Resubmission, Reconciliation and good knowledge of Medicine, Medicare and Private Insurance payments.I am Knowledgeable in ICD 10 CM, Adjudication Rules and Claim resubmission and I am positive that I will surely exceed your expectations.

 

Besides the eleven years of experience, I have furthered my education in the medical technology field through online courses. I am now CCS and CIC certified from AHIMA and AAPC and my eleven years of coding experience includes Resubmission,Reconciliation,Inpatient Coding, Diagnosis-Related Group experience, Health Information Management,Health Information System,EPIC and of 3M coding system experience. I am talented in determining the eligibility of medical claims by performing in depth reviews of claim request,adjudicating medical claims and taking appropriate actions to resolve .discrepancies,utilizing uptodate process and procedures to update claims in the database and responds to Insurance companies by staying within standards to ensure conformity and reduced risk of denials.

I am proficient in ICD-10 system as well and I have been mentoring my coders on medical terminology, anatomy & patho physiology and encouraging them to improve their academic prowess. I had been selected to initiate the launch of a leading project in our company.

My key responsibility areas include preparing materials for internal auditing,analyzing rejections, assigning and sequencing the codes for the diagnoses and procedures, determining the final diagnoses, performing reviews for the records, making sure all parts are included reflecting the care and treatment given and analysing provider documentation to ensure if appropriate evaluation and management levels are assigned.

I have been awarded BEST MEDICAL CODER with 98% accuracy in 2013. Having completed B.Sc Microbiology, I have also done M.Sc Bioinformatics securing the FOURTH rank from Mahatma Gandhi University.
