As part of a newly created position, we are looking for an Electrical Methods Engineer to strengthen the onshore Methods team based in Luanda.
The scope includes the management of two FPSOs, Pazflor and CLOV, which together have a combined production capacity of more than 300,000 barrels per day.
Deliver engineering and technical support for electrical maintenance activities across 2 FPSOs, ensuring optimal equipment reliability and availability.Oversee and coordinate electrical maintenance campaigns, external contractors, and technical studies in full compliance with Company policies and regulatory requirements.
Guarantee strict adherence to HSE standards throughout all stages of maintenance activities, from planning and execution to final close-out.
Enhance and streamline electrical maintenance strategies, controlling costs and improving performance in alignment with operational targets.Serve as the primary point of contact for all operational electrical matters, liaising with offshore teams, onshore support functions, and contractors.
Electrical Engineering degree with at least 5 years' experience in Oil & Gas maintenance activities (ideally in an offshore environment)
Strong organizational skills, rigor, and respect for planning and procedures
Operational level in English (French and Portuese considered an asset)
Ability to contribute to training and mentoring local engineers
Onshore position based in Luanda with regular offshore missions
Rotation: 5 months on / 1 month off
Working days: 6 days per week
