- To assist the company in complying with legal, regulatory, and internal standards related to health, safety, and the environment.
- Participate in the development and implementation of policies.: Create, implement, and maintain health and safety policies, procedures, and strategies to protect employees and the workplace.
- Participate in Risk Assessment and Hazard Identification. Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards in the workplace, evaluating risks using tools such as JSA / JHA (JOB SAFETY ANALYSIS/ JOB HAZARD ANALYSIS) and recommend appropriate measures to control or eliminate the risks.
- Safety Training and Awareness for Company Personnel: Offer safety onboarding to new employees. Provide training to employees on safe work practices. Safety procedures and environmental awareness to promote a culture of safety and compliance. Conduct emergency drills such as Safety Drill or Fire Drill at least once a week.
- Participate in Incident Investigation: Investigate incidents and near misses (NEAR MISS) in the workplace to determine its root causes, identify corrective actions, and implement preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
- Record HSE Information: Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, training sessions, and other safety-related documentation.
- Environmental Management: To oversee the disposal of hazardous waste, monitor pollution, and promote sustainable practices to minimize the organization's environmental impact.
- Participate in Emergency Preparedness: Participate in emergency preparedness plans to ensure the organization is ready to respond to incidents and crises.
- Reports and Communication: Communicate safety information, inspection findings, and incident reports to management and employees.
- Perform routine inspections and audits at the workplace: Check Work Permit (Work Permit), PPEs, JSA/JHA, Fire Extinguishers and other equipment / Work Tools etc
- Participate in Toolbox Talk meeting Daily meetings with the working groups.
- Conducting Safety meetings: Diaries (Daily Meeting), weekly (Weekly Meeting) or monthly (Monthly Meeting) depending on the company's requirements
- Monitor Jobs Hot (HOT WORK), (COLD WORK), (Working at Height), Load lifting operations (Lifting) and work in confined spaces (Confined Space).
