Your mission as a Backend Developer 💻

The role is a part of the Product Team and reports to the Head of Engineering. It directly contributes to Kidscorp's mission by developing high-quality and scalable software. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects from start to finish, collaborating closely with development and business teams to ensure that Kite meets the needs of users and the company.

What You'll Do 🚀

• Development and maintenance of business logic that encompasses all main functionalities of Kite and integration with external services.

• Design and optimization of databases to ensure optimal performance and integrity of all data.

  Implementation of APIs to enable proper communication between Kite's frontend and backend and for integration with other systems and services.

• Ensuring that both the infrastructure and the platform are protected against vulnerabilities and attacks by implementing various security measures.

• Optimizing Kite's performance and designing it to easily scale and handle increased traffic and data volumes as the platform grows.

• Automating tasks through the development of scripts, applications, and tools to facilitate repetitive tasks.

• Developing and maintaining various bots to integrate Kite with key business services that do not provide an API for this purpose.

• Bug fixes, software updates, security patches, and troubleshooting to ensure continuous operation of the platform.

• Continuously reviewing and improving both the backend and frontend to achieve an optimal user experience.

• Working closely with other team members to ensure the overall success of the project.

What It Takes To Succeed 👊

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software development, engineering, or a related technical field.

• Require a minimum of 5 years of experience in the role or a similar position.

• Database Development: Design, implementation, and maintenance of MySQL databases.

• Development of backend applications using .NET and C#.

• Creating scripts and backend applications in Python.

• Design, development, and integration of RESTful APIs and other web services.

• Implementation and management of integrations with internal and external systems.

• Participation in software architecture design, ensuring scalability and efficiency.

• Working closely with frontend, DevOps, and other departments to ensure smooth integration and efficient project delivery.

• Empathy and listening skills

• Organized, goal and process – oriented

• Advance English level

Nice to have 👨‍🏫

• Previous experience with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).

• Knowledge of other technologies and programming languages

• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git.
