Role Overview

As a Senior Software Engineer at CodingIT, you will play a key role in the design, architecture, and development of scalable web applications, contributing across both frontend and backend systems. We are looking for an experienced engineer who can take ownership of technical decisions, particularly on the frontend architecture. You will be expected to design maintainable frontend solutions, define implementation patterns, evaluate trade-offs, and drive architectural decisions with confidence while collaborating closely with product, design, and engineering teams.

The ideal candidate combines strong React and TypeScript expertise with solid backend experience in serverless environments. Beyond implementation, this role requires a high degree of autonomy, technical judgment, and accountability, with the ability to contribute to system design discussions and deliver robust, scalable solutions across the stack. Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain scalable web applications across frontend and backend layers.

Own and drive frontend architectural decisions, establishing patterns, standards, and best practices that promote scalability, maintainability, and performance.

Collaborate with product, design, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Build and maintain frontend applications using React, TypeScript, and modern styling frameworks.

Design and implement backend services using AWS Serverless technologies and cloud-native architectures.

Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical planning activities.

Identify and resolve performance, reliability, and scalability challenges across the stack.

Support production systems, troubleshoot issues, and ensure the reliability of deployed solutions. Qualifications

Must-Haves

Minimum 5 years of experience in software development, including significant experience as a Full Stack Engineer.

Strong expertise in React and TypeScript for building complex, scalable web applications.

Proven experience making frontend architectural decisions, including component architecture, state management, performance optimization, scalability, and maintainability.

Strong knowledge of modern frontend styling approaches, including CSS and TailwindCSS.

Experience building and maintaining applications using AWS Serverless technologies, including Lambda-based architectures.

Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and engineering best practices.

Ability to work autonomously, own technical decisions, and contribute across the entire application stack.

Professional proficiency in English.

Nice-to-Haves

Experience integrating and maintaining Stripe payment solutions.

Experience with Sentry for monitoring, observability, and production troubleshooting.

Broader AWS cloud knowledge beyond serverless services, including infrastructure, security, networking, and deployment strategies.

Experience deploying and managing applications using Vercel.

Experience participating in technical leadership, mentoring, or architecture discussions.

Familiarity with AI-assisted development workflows and modern engineering productivity tools.

Experience working with ObjectionJS or similar ORM technologies.

Experience working with Amazon S3 and cloud-based storage solutions.
