Epam SystemsDesign backend components using Java/Kotlin and GraphQL
Maintain multiple production systems through debugging, monitoring, and operational support
Operate services to meet defined SLAs, including incident response and on-call support as needed
Assess and select technologies by weighing architectural and platform trade-offs
Implement testing strategies and improve observability with logging, metrics, and alerting
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment from design through launch
Apply AI-assisted development tools and workflows to improve delivery speed and quality
Hands-on experience with React and modern web application patterns
Experience with Java or Kotlin for backend development
Experience with GraphQL in production systems
Ability to evaluate technologies and articulate trade-offs across platforms and architectures
Understanding of large-scale organizations and how teams and systems interact
Experience operating within SLAs and supporting identity- or security-sensitive systems
Knowledge of testing and observability tools, including unit/integration testing, logging, metrics, and alerting
Strong debugging and operational support skills for multiple production systems
English proficiency at a B1+ level
Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and workflows
